Graduation season is here and eleven seniors are scheduled to receive their diplomas from Mapleton High School on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Seniors Morgan Milbrett, Evelynn McMaster, Hannah Robertson, Dom Stewart and Elenore Hurley share stories of their lives in Mapleton and their hopes for the future. Careers in botany, psychology and social work, dreams of a house, the wish for a family and the hope for a home that feels safe and stable.

They are excited to graduate, sad to leave friends and family, and nervous and anxious to start a new chapter. As Morgan said of life in a small community, “In some ways it’s kind of nice because everybody knows each other. But everybody knows each other,” she said with a laugh.
