These kinds of things are always to be taken with a grain of salt, and I have no idea how rigorous the methodology is, but who can resist seeing where we stand?
39th, according to this new study published in “U.S. News and World Report.” Based on eight categories, we ranked 39th overall, while finishing 2nd for Infrastructure and 44th in the Natural Environment category. Utah was the top-ranked state, and Louisiana was at the bottom.
Pennsylvania ranked 40th, so my move here five years ago was clearly the right decision.
